The root zone, made legible
Every ending on
the internet.
Search the authoritative list of delegated top-level domains, see the structure behind the suffix, and follow each record back to IANA.
THE CLASSIFICATION
A map of labels,
not a ranking.
Country-code status is inferred only from two-letter ASCII labels; internationalized entries are identified by their xn-- form. Everything else is presented as generic unless it is the DNS infrastructure label .arpa. No category implies quality, eligibility, price, or trust.
ROOT ZONE SHAPE
The structure behind
the suffixes.
These charts are recomputed from the same IANA snapshot as the table and download. They count delegated ASCII labels—not registrations, websites, registrants, popularity, or value.
“RDAP bootstrap listed” means IANA names at least one HTTPS RDAP service for the TLD. It does not prove that every registrar publishes every field, that a particular domain exists, or that registration data identifies an owner.
